Drink – Blood Orange Margarita

Makes 1 Serving

INGREDIENTS 

  • Kosher salt and lime wedge to rim the glass
  • 1 1⁄2 oz. silver tequila *Exclude for a mocktail
  • 3 Tbsp. fresh-squeezed lime juice
  • 2 Tbsp. recent blood orange juice (common OJ works too!)
  • 1 tsp. mild agave nectar

INSTRUCTIONS

    1. To rim the glass, pour a skinny layer of kosher salt on a small plate. Rub the lime wedge across the rim of a glass after which dip within the salt.
    2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add all components and shake properly for about 30 seconds. Pressure into the rimmed glass over ice.

    Dip – Mango Salsa

    • 2 tbsp finely chopped purple onion 
    • ¼ cup finely chopped cilantro
    • 2-3 tbsp recent lime juice
    • ½ tsp sea salt

    INSTRUCTIONS

      1. Chop and cube all components. Make your salsa as chunky or finely-chopped as you want.

        INGREDIENTS 

        • ½ tbsp olive oil 
        • ½ tsp chili powder 
        • ½ tsp kosher salt 
        • 10 medium shrimp 
        • 4 entire wheat tortillas 
        • 1 tbsp recent cilantro 
        • 1 lime, reduce into wedges 
        • ½ avocado, chopped

        INSTRUCTIONS

          1. Warmth your grill to medium-high. Combine the olive oil, chili powder, and salt in a big bowl. Add the shrimp and toss to coat. Grill the shrimp till translucent, about 1 ½ to 2 minutes on all sides.

          INGREDIENTS

          • ½ peeled orange
          • ¼ tsp. cayenne
          • ¼ tsp. floor turmeric
          • ½ cup frozen pineapple
          • ½ cup unsweetened almond milk
          • ½ cup sliced carrot
          • ¼ cup Greek yogurt 

          INSTRUCTIONS

            1. Mix all of the components till clean and pour into popsicle mildew.
            2. Freeze for about 12 hours or till strong
